CV

In her painting, Petra Amtsberg Hoffmann combines a fine sense of space and composition with the freedom of artistic experiment. Her experience as an interior architect resonates in her work just as much as her delight in colour and movement. Her often large-format works radiate joie de vivre and invite the viewer to discover new details again and again.
At the Riemerling Studios in Hohenbrunn near Munich, which she opened in 2014, she has created a constructive, creative place of work that offers room for new ideas and artistic exchange. Workshops and symposia in Germany and abroad give her work further impetus. Her works are exhibited and sold internationally; her exhibitions have taken her to Paris, Cairo, Barcelona and Singapore as well as Slovenia, Belgium and Austria.
Petra Amtsberg Hoffmann is a member of BBK München (professional association of visual artists), Kunstkreis Gräfelfing and ACCES – Art & Cross-Cultural Exchange Society. She lives in Gräfelfing near Munich, Germany.
