Summer 2014

In summer 2014, 40 artists from different countries worked for three weeks in Norbert Bisky’s class at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. The exhibition “Summer 2014” at the Technopark ISTU Atom gallery in Irkutsk was the first group exhibition of the class, curated by Aleksandra Ianchenko. The artists sent their works to Siberia by post; large formats were printed on site. The exhibition opened on 29 September with a small musical performance; it was part of a Russia-wide festival and was supported by Irkutsk State Technical University.
