Pentiment – Final Exhibition

“Where on earth do all these visitors come from?” Hundreds came on the last day of the two-week Pentiment academy to see the results of the courses – perhaps because of a TV report, perhaps because of prominent teachers such as Norbert Bisky and Herlinde Koelbl.

In the course “Portrait Lab” (1–7 August 2016) we explored the possibilities of portraiture in the digital age. The co-production of the Bisky and Koelbl classes led to exciting results: painters and photographers had to swap pencil for camera and were thus confronted with each other’s point of view. The final exhibition documented exactly that. Pentiment again any time!
