Pop Up – Painting

On 12 June 2015 our first pop-up group exhibition took place in the exhibition rooms of the Schillerpalais in Berlin-Neukölln. The participants of Norbert Bisky’s class at the Salzburg Summer Academy 2014 exhibited – travelling from Siberia, Belgium, Austria and all parts of Germany. Norbert Bisky had invited us to his studio in Berlin-Friedrichshain that weekend.

The special appeal: until the last minute nobody knew how many pictures would be ready to hang, as everyone arrived at different times with very different formats. The result was impressive – in front of guests, Norbert Bisky and the critic Mark Gisbourne. The studio visit and a tour of Bisky’s exhibition “Balagan” at Bötzow rounded off the weekend.
