Show Up 05 – Norbert Bisky Painting Class

Fifth joint exhibition of the group “Norbert Bisky Course Salzburg 2014” of the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts.

An international group of artists who met in Norbert Bisky’s class in Salzburg in 2014 has since met every year for joint exhibitions in the participants’ home towns. In 2018 the Braunschweig artist Bernhardine Bahri invited us to the Galerie Studio Hoppe. Many artists travelled from abroad – from England, Austria, Tanzania and Russia – for the well-attended opening on 19 October. On the evening before, Norbert Bisky discussed the works and the exhibition with us.

Exhibiting, meeting, exchanging: organising such an exhibition in changing places is a new challenge every time. The group has noticeably grown together.
