UNFRAMED

Art connects across borders. I was delighted to be part of the international exhibition “UNFRAMED” at the New Jorg Gallery in Kalmthout, Belgium.

I share a long-standing artistic collaboration – and a friendship that has grown from it – with the artist, sculptor, curator and gallerist Jorg van Daele. We first met many years ago at an art symposium in Ybbs an der Donau, Austria. Since then we have shared many artistic encounters and joint exhibitions, including several times in Cairo at the Empower Her Art Forum.

Art brought us together again – this time in Belgium. “UNFRAMED” brought together 30 international artists and their diverse forms of artistic expression. Art connects people, cultures and friendships – across borders and over many years.

Opening: 22 November 2025, 2 pm
Further opening days: 28 and 29 November, 4 and 5 December, 1–5 pm
